Verification requests to prevent spamming

As a follow up on the issue of spammers...

If you have submitted a registration and have not been contacted within 72 hours please check your spam folders for an email from "nabobj@ gmail.com" .  If you have not received a verification request please send me a note there and we'll figure out what occurred.  

Registrations remain in the queue for 14 days, if there is no response the pending registration is deleted.      

Some of the spammers are quite obvious... for example who would approve BuyGenerikViagra as a username; while others are very common names but turns out they are on banned lists worldwide.

There have been a number of bounced emails returning when the secondary verification is sent.  I have no other way of contacting members in the queue when the email bounces back.  Please be certain that your email address is entered correctly.

We are still running about 2 to 1 on the spammers attempting to register; although on Christmas Day it was more like 8 to 1 - guess they thought we'd just throw the doors open wide that day.

There is an upswing in the number of pending registrations since the review and input materials were released.  Please be sure to check the email address you provided for registration for the following:
