Posted on the project page yesterday:

Thank you for the input...

The deadline for input on Chapters Three, Four & Five was 30 June 2010. Members’ input came to us from various locales in our worldwide fellowship. We are very pleased that so many members have given time and energy to this important task. The input will be collated and compiled for the workgroup, who will take on the project of revising the chapters in response to your many and varied comments.

It is the longstanding practice when developing new literature to cease distribution of draft material when review periods have ended; accordingly, the links to the draft material have been removed.  Similarly, we have reached the point in the development of this text where we will be asking you to refrain from contributing source material with the release of the final chapters for review. The fellowship has been very generous in the amount of source material and it has directly affected the contents of the drafts. Again, we thank you for your participation.

The journey continues on this project; the remaining two chapters and the preface to the book are scheduled for review and input from 1 October –  31 December 2010, and we look forward to hearing your feedback.

Dear Ben,

Welcome.

This was part of a discussion thread regarding WSC 2010:

There was not a motion in the CAR regarding the Living Clean project; the project plan was distributed as part of the Conference Approval Track materials in advance of WSC 2008. Currently, the projects plans are part of the budget process and are distributed to conference participants in the Conference Approval Track material which is distributed directly to conference participants 90 days before the WSC allowing time for the regional delegates to workshop it in a manner that fits within their local community. Each local community can determine for itself how the material will be reviewed and how to direct their regional delegate. How this review occurs varies from community to community; contact your Regional Delegate in your local community to see how this was handled for WSC 2008.  You will be interested to know that the CAT material, including the NAWS Strategic Plan, will be available on 25 January 2010 at the www.na.org website, under the tab for the World Service Conference.

The process for approval of projects through motions in the CAR was changed with the adoption of a unified budget process through a motion in the CAR in 1998.  The motion that created the unified budget process was adopted by a voice vote of greater than 2/3 of the regional delegates voting in old business at WSC ’98; as a reminder only regional delegates vote in old business at the WSC.  This was part of a set of motions that restructured NA World Services which were widely discussed by the fellowship.

The Guidelines for the NA World Services Budget appears on page 27 of the GWS and has this to say regarding projects:

Any new non-routine world service project will have been thoroughly planned with
an accompanying budget and timeline, and be prioritized and approved by the
World Service Conference. No prospective project may be prioritized by WSC
participants unless it has been accompanied by a project timeline and budget.
Projects created for the routine operations of world services are reported to the
conference but are not presented for prioritization and approval.

And later:

New project proposals can be forwarded from the fellowship and from the board
itself. (See the Ideas for World Service Projects Submission Form in Addendum B.)
One of the duties of the World Board is to develop project plans, which include
budgets and timelines for all prospective non-routine world service projects. The
World Board reports to the conference on all ideas that they receive and chooses
to propose some of those ideas to the conference for further discussion and
eventual prioritization. The board decides which items they believe are desirable,
practical, and achievable and develops project plans for these items. These are
forwarded to conference participants prior to the WSC for eventual prioritization at
the conference. No project proposal will be considered for prioritization or action
during the same WSC as it was originally proposed.

I hope this has addressed your question.

Some members in my Area and myself included were wondering what is the history of the Living Clean project from conception to approval and was it voted on in the CAR, Im super stoked about this book and would like to be able to answer questions and to rally intrest in this new piece of lit.

Here's a link to the discussion board where this topic appears:  http://disc.na.org/servdisc/forumdisplay.php?f=2

If you care to reply to the post then you'll need to do so on that thread in the Service Discussion board.

Thanks,

First let me apologize. This is regarding literature, but not the LCP.

Given that the The World Board will be developing a project plan to present to WSC 2012 for a Traditions Working Guide., I was hoping to begin early discussions on the Traditions and spiritual principles. Just as the Stepworking guide has a paragraph on spiritual principles, I had hoped for some input as to what 4 or 5 spiritual principles you feel are embodied in each Tradition. For example, In Tradition one, I believe Unity, Acceptance, Commitment, Service, and Humility are the foundational principles at work. What do you all think, and why?

The discussion is in the Service discussion area board. The topic is entitled "What Spiritual Principle is That?" There is such incredibly awesome input on this particular board and I respect the participants a great deal. I would be grateful to anyone wishing to submit input as I intend to gather all the thoughts offered and submit them to the workgroup once it's established. Please, if you will pose all your comments on the other board, as this board is for LCP.

Thanks, Bob for allowing me to post this here.
